On Valentine’s Day, Stoudemire posted 21 points and grabbed nine boards to help the Knicks capture a 90-87 victory over the Raptors.
3. THE STAT SWAT
Fighting for a playoff spot in Philadelphia, Stoudemire quickly halted a run from the Sixers with a gigantic block on Elton Brand. The Knicks big man posted 21 points and nine rebounds in the 82-79 road win.
2. POWER SLAM
For two of his 17 points, Stoudemire electrified the Madison Square Garden crowd with a powerful slam against the Nets. The Knicks topped New Jersey 99-92in this February 4 meeting.
1. THE HAMMER
As one of the most impressive dunks of the season, Stoudemire bounced down the lane and capitulated over Bobcats shot blocking specialist Tyrus Thomas for a hammer one-handed jam. Stoudemire scored 21 points in 24 minutes and the Knicks secured a season finale win over the Bobcats on March 26.
