I wouldn't say that he's a terrible coach, just a stubborn one. His pick-and-roll system mostly benefited PGs and Big Men, yet he was too stubborn to change it to accommodate everyone else. And D'Antoni didn't hold his players too accountable for their mistakes like Woodson does.
