While Jeremy Lin continues to work towards getting healthy and the recent injury to Baron Davis, which Point Guard do you want to see start TONIGHT vs. Miami in Game 5?
you know. i actually have a lot of faith in TD. after watching the knick games on MSG today. he just have to remember his game. dude you have nothing to loose. Atack!!! Atack!!! Atack!!!! keep the defense on their heels. and drop those open 3 pointers.. just remember your Game TD.
NO NO NO J-Lin please don't play. If he has even the SLIGHTEST inkling of doubt in his mind about that knee, then he should not play. If J-Lin comes back when he's not at full potential, he'll not only hurt NYK's already slim chances at beating the Heat, but he could do irreversible damage to his leg and put to waste his very promising career. It's not worth it.
Jr smith is the x factor he needs to give us a big game .. You know when he gets hot he can score. Amare and melo know what they need to do and for bibby we need him to run the offense hit open shots and take care of the ball and control our offense. Every one must rise up thats on the floor tonight lets go KNICKS....
Bibby has to start, it's a no brainer. Toney Douglas was on fire for a period of time last season, but his inconsistency quickly brought that to an end. He's not too reliable and could cause a lot of turnovers.
It's really, really stupid for Jeremy Lin to start playing now.
No 1. Risking his injury to be worse (like Derrick Rose) is terrible for his career and future.
No 2. He's going to be rusty and playing against a top performing playoff team like the Heat is going to be ugly to watch.
No 3. Free Agency. It's best to get healthy and let your last time on the court to be a positive view rather than coming back not fully recovered and getting mauled by the Heat. This way the free agency will offer numbers based on Linsanity.
If you really think so, then U may ask the team doctor, and advise coach Mike Woodson.
When will the injured players can return not make decision by only themselves.
This article points to something fishy is going on surrounding the team and the franchise way of dealing with his injury, from the beginning: (http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/basketball/knicks/jeremy-lin-misses-playoffs-heat-ny-knicks-mysterious-handling-knee-injury-hero-bench-article-1.1075069) I still would believe that they may bench Lin so Melo could play his game the way he wanted because he was so afraid that Lin will steal all the spot light.
On the contrary, I think they are trying to look out for both the Knicks and Lin's long-term interest. Why rush him to play and risk re-injury? Wouldn't you like to see Lin recuperate fully, and joins training camp in October with a 100% knee? I know I would.
All I'm saying is, I hope it is not the case that they (team/franchise owner/coach) is deliberately benching Lin so that Melo could be the only star. I am all for the argument that Lin should only play when he's 100%, but hate the fact that they delayed Jeremy's injury announcement and surgery so that they could sell out all the playoff tickets. Just hate any kind of deception going on behind the scene!
Jeremy Lin. But he's not playing today.
Let knicks fan know why you are not playing.Do you decide not to play by yourself or somebody
doesn't want you to play? Let us know clearly
Bahahah she makes him sound like he's a Prophet or something. I've seen players get on the court in conditions much worse than his. Baron is someone who's been playing hurt since he's stepped on the court so stop making excuses for Lin. I like him but I'm not getting my hopes up until I hear he'll be back.
the Knicks just doesn't wanna be at the expense of losing Jeremy Lin for next year. this team has the pieces in place to be a high seed next season. why mess with that now? you get what i mean??? they're protecting their futureļ¼
Are you kidding? No player gets to make much real decision. All decisions must run through and approved by the team/coach/owner. Just think about how and how long they delayed the news of Jeremy's injury/surgery. Otherwise, he could have been all recovered now to play at least Game 4! I still believe that the management is sitting Lin on purpose so that Melo could play his iso game!
then look up lateral meniscus tear. it not the same thing as a medial tear. full recovery time is 6 weeks at which point full contact conditioning should start. Jeremy is actually ahead of schedule.
Bibby for sure. I always feel like we're in good hands when he's on the court. He's not flashy but he's solid. Toney Douglas filling in when needed -- he should focus on getting the ball out more and not on shooting.
