STAT and Melo

In just his second game back from injury, STAT added 22 points and 12 rebounds alongside Melo who had 39 points of his own.  With just 2 games left in the regular season, do you think the Knicks can maintain this balance throughout the playoffs?

Yes we can. In fact as quiet as it is kept, even with Sir Charles talking trash - we are the most feared team in the playoffs.

There's always a problem with the Knicks. 1st injuries, coaching change, now trying to blend Melo and Stat together for the playoffs. I've seen these 2 score before many times last yr when we had a great pg, but the D suffers when Tyson is on the bench. The real key is blending all 3 together

Yes, but its all up to the coach... I really think we go as far as Woodson takes us... He has a time on his hand to still figure out a playoff line-up and how to manage minutes... if the chemistry is good we could GO ALL THE WAY...

Fans might not admit it but the reason Melo and Stat didn't co-exsist on the court early on was because of D'Antoni, under Woodson MELO is the Beast I've always known him to be and Stat now see's it for himself and knows that if he lets him lead they will be successful

They could work together but they work better in pairs instead of threes...I believe that if STAT was willing to come of the bench when the matchups require that the Knicks would be unbeatable

STAT, Melo and Chandler can't be in the game at the same time, it clogs everything up in the paint and forces the backcourt to chuck jumpballs. Here are some arrangements that would work better: Melo + Chandler, STAT + Chandler, Melo + STAT. It's too bad STAT can never play the 3

he has a nice jumper for the three spot. and goes to the basket as good as anybody. rebounding and defense is where he will be a beast at. scoring he is on auto pilot

Stat and Melo can not co-exist unless Melo gets what he wants and Stat doesn't argue with him. Pay attention Melo played the 4 and Stat played the 5 in AtL game. In the Cavs game Stat played the 4 and Melo plated the 3. Melo wants the 4 spot... Thats his spot and sorry he is top 5 offensive player in the league give him the 4... Have Stat come off the bench since Tyson is better at the 5. Stat can come in for Melo or Tyson. Leave Shump as a starter.. Melo is the Coby of the East. All players around him should have his back, and Melo needs to be the leader he is and don't deal with any drama...

I agree MELO is the Best in the League with the Ball in his hands and unstoppable at the 4 spot even though teams still play their 3's against him..Amare needs to pick up his defence more than his O because they went to the rack everytime down almost and STAT watched 90% of the drives

Any of the two but we beat The Bulls already and lost a nail biter with them.. let's get that old rivalry going and beat anyone in our way! ... The ball is round and and can tilt in any team's favor!

Amar'e is best at the 5 and carmelo is best at the 4 (go figure)their best offensive unit is when chandler os on the bench but noooooo anchor hence the heavily offensive game
