Cole Leads Replacements

With Chandler and Stoudemire out, the Knicks had a void to fill up front. Cole Aldrich was pegged to start his first NBA game and filled it admirably. Aldrich recorded a double-double, scoring a career-high tying 12 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. He was also tough on the defensive end, blocking three shots.
Aldrich was not the only reserve to step tonight when needed, as Earl Clark also turned in his best performance as a Knick. Clark came off the bench and gave the Knicks some positive minutes, scoring six points and grabbing six rebounds. He also blocked two shots, had one steal and one assist.
