How it Happened:

The Chicago Bulls entered this afternoon ranked as the second-ranked defensive team in the NBA, and they held the Knicks to seven points fewer than their season average today in the Windy City.

Despite outscoring Chicago by 10 in the 2nd quarter, they were never able to overcome a 37-16 advantage coming out of the first.

We saw another dominant performance on the glass by Tyson Chandler (22 rebounds, three blocks) and 21 points from Carmelo Anthony, but New York were no match for the Bulls' wire-to-wire performance in this one.

Knick of the Night:

Chandler continued his torrid rebounding streak, giving the Knicks a presence in the paint to match up with Chicago's front line of Joakim Noah and Taj Gibson.

Looking Ahead:

The Knicks fly to Detroit today to face another big front line of the Detroit Pistons tomorrow evening.
