In post-game interviews J.R. Smith said the Knicks didn't play with enough urgency against the Warriors, falling behind by as many as 27 points. The Knicks trailed by double-digits from the 6:13 mark of the second quarter on; the closest the Knicks got in the second half was 16 points as there seemed to be an energy gap between the two teams.
The Warriors dominated all facets of the game, outscoring the Knicks in the paint, on the fast break, from the three point line and the foul line.
