Melo and Chandler Lead the Way

Carmelo Anthony once again gave everything he had but it was not enough to take down the surging Heat. Anthony had a strong game, scoring 29 points on 11-for-20 shooting from the field, including 3-for-8 from beyond the three-point line. Anthony also added seven rebounds, two assists and one steal on the night. He provided some of the few highlights for the Knicks on the night, blocking LeBron James at the rim once and dunking over him as well.
Tyson Chandler also turned in a stellar effort as a menace in the paint. Against an undersized and poor rebounding team, Chandler dominated the interior, scoring 19 points and grabbing 16 rebounds. He finished with thunderous alley-oop dunks and converted at the foul line, knocking down seven of eight.
