Knicks Fall Short As Miami Pulls Away In 2nd Half

How it Happened:

After a strong first half, capped off by a 16-6 run, the Knicks put themselves in position to challenge the Heat down in Miami. Carmelo Anthony had scored 24 points at the break, Tyson Chandler was on his way to another monster performance on the glass, and the New York was hanging in there, down 55-50.

But the second half was another story, as Miami pulled away. LeBron James and Dwyane combined for 54 points and the Heat shot over 60 percent from the field, compared to 37 percent for the Knicks.

Knick of the Night:

Anthony continued his scoring tear, with 29 points on 20 shots to go with seven rebounds. He's giving his team everything he has, and tonight he did so for 36 strong minutes before heading to the bench.

Looking Ahead:

There is no time for rest, as the Knicks return home to face Stephen Curry and the Warriors at Madison Square Garden tomorrow night.
