Shooting Guard Injuries

J.R. Smith was already sitting out with a fractured cheekbone, so when Iman Shumpert left the game with a strained hip flexor, it left the Knicks very thin at the shooting guard spot. Tim Hardaway, Jr. played most of the second half but couldn't find his shot, going 3 for 12 for the game.
The injuries forced Coach Woodson to go with a big lineup very late in the game of Chandler, Stoudemire, Anthony, Tyler and Felton but they couldn't string together enough buckets to pull out the overtime. The upcoming break will be crucial for both Smith's and Shumpert's recoveries.
