Shump Rises When It Counts

Iman Shumpert did an excellent job defending Mavericks' weapon Monta Ellis. Much of the Dallas offense is initiated with Monta's drives to the basket and Shump was able to disrupt the rhythm by staying in front of the speedy Ellis. His tenacity and focus frustrated Ellis' drives and disrupted his jump shots.
Despite his recent hot streak shooting the ball, Shumpert did not take a ton of shots this game but he made them when it counted in the final minutes. Iman hit a pretty reverse baseline layup and then an open three to seal the deal for the Knicks.
