In arguably their best effort of the season, the Knicks came up short in overtime against the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night. Carmelo Anthony propelled his way to 30 points and 18 rebounds, while Beno Udrih contributed 19 points in 38 solid all-around minutes, but the Pacers took advantage of some late foul calls and clinched the victory in overtime.
The Knicks need to log some wins on their upcoming four-game road trip that includes trips to Washington, Portland, the Los Angeles Clippers, and Denver Nuggets. Every one of the those games is going to require an effort equal to or greater than the Knicks gave on Wednesday.
Here are five takeaways from an emotionally draining loss to the Pacers.
