The Knicks got strong performances from Carmelo Anthony and Andrea Bargnani, but fell in the final minutes, 109-106, to the Rockets at MSG. The Knicks were in the game throughout but a few costly late fouls allowed the Rockets to build a lead from the foul line and the Knicks couldn't keep pace.
All losses count the same, but this should go down as a "good loss," as the Knicks were able to run stride-for-stride with a Western Conference powerhouse in the second game of a back-to-back.
Here are my five takeaways from the game.
