1. Carmelo's MVP Performance

Last year’s scoring champion showed up in full force against the Houston Rockets. Carmelo Anthony shot 17-for-30, poured in 45 points, and hauled in 10 rebounds. Easily Anthony’s best performance of the season, he kept the Knicks in the game and gave them a chance to win in the end.
His three-pointer that would've tied the game and sent him to the free throw line with a chance to give the Knicks a lead with five seconds to go was ruled off after the officials determined James Harden's foul came before the shot. Regardless, Melo made an emphatic statement on Thursday night. He’s back and ready to lead the Knicks into the playoffs.
