Opening night at Madison Square Garden. There's simply nothing like it anywhere else in the NBA. It got close there during a second-half Bucks run, but the Knicks found new ways to preserve the victory.
And how about those new faces management brought in to bolster the team's depth? How would Coach Woodson use his new toys and what he do with his rotation? We don't have all the answers after one game, but some trends may be emerging.
Lastly, let's not forget the familiar faces; Carmelo Anthony, Raymond Felton, Tyson Chandler, Iman Shumpert, and Pablo Prigioni started for New York, a not-so-subtle coincidence considering all of them were on the team last season.
Let's take a look at five takeaways from the Knicks first game -- and first win -- of the season.
