  • Head coach Mike Woodson announced his starters for tonight and it will include the two-point-guard lineup featuring Raymond Felton and Pablo Prigioni in the backcourt.  Carmelo Anthony will shift back to small forward, Andrea Bargnani will get the starting nod at the 4, and Tyson Chandler will anchor the paint as the center.
  • Woodson also said Kenyon Martin will most likely not play the first 3 games of the preseason to keep him fresh and ready for the season.
  • The reason Iman Shumpert is not in the starting lineup at the moment is due to the low reps during training camp.  Shumpert said he is not experiencing any knee soreness.
  • Cole Aldrich will see significant time at the center spot as Tyson Chandler’s back-up tonight.
  • Metta World Peace on the approach to preseason games, “You just go out and execute.  I found out that things happen naturally, so there’s nothing to really think about it.  You go out there and play.  It’s October 7th or 8th, something like that, you go there and play basketball and continue to improve.”
