With the first official preseason game kicking off tonight against the Boston Celtics, the practice intensity level was cranked up to full volume this week. KnicksNow provided all of the action from Monday’s practice session.
Raymond Felton, Andrea Bargnani, and Cole Aldrich chatted with the media following Monday's Knicks practice at MSG Training Center.
Yesterday Mike Woodson spoke to reporters about his team's versatility and lineup possibilities in advance of tonight's preseason opener. “I’m excited because these are the pieces that are going to be a part of our team, and we got to assemble all these pieces together to make sure that it works.”
Carmelo Anthony also spoke to reporters after Tuesday's practice: “I’m looking forward to just playing against somebody else. Just to get out there and get it going once again, get back into the flow of things, get that rhythm back, and get back into that grind mode.”
Iman Shumpert says that his minor shoulder injury has healed and that he's ready to play tonight.
Range has never been a problem for Melo, as you can see in this Knicks Instagram video.
Madison Square Garden is currently finishing up its transformation and Raymond Felton recently traded in his Knicks uniform for a hardhat to check out the construction.
