The Knicks are ready to roll! The 2013-14 season officially kicked off on Monday with Media Day, and with all the players back together, one couldn't help but get excited about the team this year. “Our goal should be winning that championship, so in order to do that you need to prepare yourself, and it starts now,” said Tyson Chandler.

Knicks President and GM Steve Mills announced on Monday that the team has picked up Coach Mike Woodson’s option to keep him on the sidelines for the 2014-15 season. Woodson’s Knicks resume features a 72-34 record over the last two seasons and a .679 winning percentage, which is the second highest percentage in franchise history. “I have long respected Mike and think he has done a remarkable job since becoming the head coach of the Knicks,” Mills said. “After spending time with him recently, it is clear that picking up his option is an easy decision.”

Coach Woodson recapped the first day of training camp with the media on Tuesday afternoon. KnicksNow was live from training camp on Tuesday and provided this video of the highlights from the first day at camp.
