Andrea Bargnani endured some up-and-down seasons with the Toronto Raptors due to injuries and the expectations that came along from being the first overall selection in the 2006 NBA draft. With a fresh start in New York, Bargnani can get back to being a stretch-4 that will help open up the paint for some easier baskets at the rim.
With the current Knicks roster having so much depth, Bargnani will not be looked upon to lead the franchise, and this change of scenery should do wonders for his game. The ability for him to use training camp to adjust to his new environment should provide a good comfort level by the time the season starts.
