The Knicks lost a special member of its family over the weekend when Dean “The Dream” Meminger passed away at the age of 65 on Friday. Meminger was drafted 16th overall in the 1971 NBA Draft and played a total of four seasons for the Knicks. His time in Orange and Blue will always be highlighted by his role on the 1973 NBA championship team.
