Knicks Dish: Felton, Melo, Metta Check In

The Knicks continued their journey through the NBA Summer League with a matchup against the Miami Heat on Wednesday night. This was the first game in Round 1 of the Summer League Tournament and the Heat defeated the Knicks, 113-66. Despite the loss, one bright spot was a very solid game from Jeremy Tyler, as he was able to continue his high level of play that he has been showcasing in Las Vegas. Tyler scored 18 points, going 8-of-12 from the field and added eight rebounds in just over 25 minutes. C.J. Leslie, another player hoping to get an invite to camp caught up with KnicksNow to talk about his experience with the Knicks Summer League team and his expectation for training camp in the fall. 

Raymond Felton stopped by the NBA Summer League to check in and he took the time to chat with Jonah Ballow. When asked about the makeup of the team, Felton replied, “I still love our chances man, we still look good." You can really tell he is motivated to get going. Felton also gave us some insight on how he feels about the new additions to the Knicks roster. Watch the interview here.
