Toure Murry: 8 points (4-for-8 FG), 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal
Toure Murry continued to impress the Knicks brass Sunday against the Wizards. He got himself and his teammates several easy baskets in transition, played hounding on-ball defense, and showed good rebounding instincts for a guard. He was the best Knicks player on the floor and it looks like he may have a training camp invite coming his way.
Terrence Jennings: 16 points (7-for-11 FG), 8 rebounds, 3 steals, 2 blocks
Jennings showed a variety of moves on offense and made his presence felt on defense as well. He converted mid-range jumpers, showed an ability to finish in the paint and ran the floor well for a big man. He also had two blocked shots and three steals. Jennings was also a team-high +23 during his 21 minutes on the floor. If he can keep producing at this level the rest of the summer, Jennings may find himself at training camp, too.
C.J. Leslie: 9 points (4-for-10 FG), 5 rebounds, 1 steal
Leslie did a little bit of everything for the Knicks on Sunday. He chased down rebounds, attacked the basket, and made smart decisions on the offensive end. In the second half, he used a jab step to coast by Glen Rice, Jr. and throw down a thunderous dunk. He rarely relied on outside jump shots and showed a knack for getting to the rim. The undrafted rookie is certainly making his case to be on the team come this winter.
