Marcus Camby had a decorated three-year career at UMass; his 336 blocks rank 2nd in UMass history and he is one of just four college players with 300 in a career.

In his freshman year, he was named the Atlantic 10's Freshman of the Year, averaging 10.2 points, 6.4 rebounds and 3.6 blocks a game.

His sophomore season only saw improvement. He was named to the Atlantic 10's First Team, leading UMass to the Elite Eight in the NCAA Tournament. He established himself as a defensive presence, while increasing his scoring average to 13.9 points per game.

It was his junior year when Camby really flourished; averages of 20.5 points, 8.2 rebounds and 3.9 blocks were good enough to earn him the Naismith College Player of the Year award. After such a successful season, Camby decided to forego his senior year and declare for the Draft.
