Marcus Camby - Center, UMass

Drafted: 1996 by the Toronto Raptors, 1st Round (2nd Overall)

The 1996 NBA draft would turn out to be one of the greatest in NBA history, and coming off three spectacular years at the University of Massachusetts, Marcus Camby was in the discussion for the No. 1 overall pick. After the Sixers took Allen Iverson, the Raptors made Camby the second overall pick. He would be followed by the likes of Ray Allen, Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash, just to name a few.

A defensive maestro, Camby has won the NBA Defensive Player of the Year award once, has led the NBA in blocks four times and has four All-Defensive Team selections (two 1st Team, two 2nd Team) in 17 seasons.

Here's his Draft Retrospective.
