Raymond Felton, Point Guard, University of North Carolina

Drafted: 2005 by the Charlotte Bobcats, 1st Round (5th overall)

Raymond Felton has put together a remarkable career on the basketball court. From high school through college and to the pros, he has won every step of the way. The two-time South Carolina Mr. Basketball was a highly touted recruit who landed at the University of North Carolina, where he won a National Championship before entering the NBA draft at the conclusion of his title-winning junior year.

Felton spent five years with the team that drafted him, the Charlotte Bobcats, before landing in the Big Apple in 2010. After quick stops in Denver (as part of the Carmelo Anthony trade) and Portland, Felton is back under the bright lights of Madison Square Garden once again. His career has truly come full circle during his second stint with the New York Knicks.

Let’s take a look back at Raymond Felton as he entered in the 2005 NBA Draft.
