5. December 9, 2012 (vs. Denver)

One night after scoring just 85 points (their lowest total of the season up to that point) in a loss to the Chicago Bulls, the Knicks came home needing a pick-me-up as they faced the Denver Nuggets. Playing against the up-and-coming Ty Lawson, Jason Kidd had one of his best performances of the season, with 17 points, seven assists and four rebounds.

But the fourth quarter was where he truly made his mark; he gave Lawson a lesson in how to lead a team, collecting four points, six assists, a steal and an offensive rebound in the final period, helping usher the Knicks to the 112-106 victory to improve their record at home to 9-0 on the year.
