Jason Kidd retired yesterday, after 19 remarkable NBA seasons. For his finale, Kidd played a pivotal role on the best Knicks team in years. He was a guiding, veteran presence on the way to 54 wins and an Atlantic Division title.
Kidd had his hand in many of the Knicks' victories this season; from timely 3-pointers to out-hustling opponents many years his junior for loose balls, Kidd showed that he still had the heart and basketball savvy that had once enabled him to lead the Nets to back-to-back NBA finals appearances.
And while his impact wasn't always obvious from the statistics, Kidd left an undeniable impact on this Knicks season.
