While they shouldn't be the sole method of evaluation, statistics can tell us a lot about a basketball team. And looking at some numbers from this year, we can see why the Knicks' offense finished third in the NBA in efficiency.
On the way to winning 54 regular season games and taking the Atlantic division crown, the 2012-2013 Knicks did many things well. In the pages to come, I'll identify five key factors that explain the offensive success and dive into the statistics behind them.
