DraftExpress picks...Dario Saric (6'10", 223 lbs. 19 years old). Small Forward, Cibona Zagreb.
KnicksNow breakdown: Saric is a tantalizing prospect wih the combination of youth, size and skills to make you dream on his potential. He's not an explosive athlete, but he's fluid with plenty of length for an NBA small forward. He showed improvement over the past few years at the Nike Hoop Summit in Portland, showing scouts glimpses of a future star with the ability to handle the ball and see the floor and a high basketball IQ.
In a draft seen by some as lacking in top-tier talent, he's the type of player you could see going as high as the mid- to late lottery. If he's available at 24, he could appeal to a team like the Knicks as a project with significant upside. He's added some weight to a wiry frame, but in all likelihood the team that drafts him won't expect him to contribute right away. He's still an inconsistent shooter and he'll probably have to bulk up before he sees the court, especially if he lands with a veteran team.
