Both Carmelo Anthony and Tyson Chandler were named All-Stars this season. Carmelo was voted as a starter and Tyson earned his first All-Star appearance as a reserve. While these are certainly individual achievements, they also reflect how well the Knicks worked together as a team. This was the first time in 12 years that New York had two All-Star representatives. Allan Houston and Latrell Sprewell were the last duo to receive the honor in 2000-01.
