The Knicks once again had more possessions than the Celtics. New York shot the ball 15 more times than Boston, grabbed 10 more offensive rebounds, and turned the ball over three times less. The extra possessions helped them sustain the victory as Boston began to cut down a 26-point 4th quarter lead.

Given how good the Pacers defense is, extra possessions will be critical to the Knicks success in Round 2. They can't turn the ball over, they have to grab offensive boards and ultimately they need to get more shot attempts up.
