Tyson Chandler was locked in a tough battle all night with opposing center Kevin Garnett. Chandler grabbed 11 rebounds, and his four offensive rebounds gave the Knicks second chances -- which always prove to be crucial in the playoffs. New York scored seven second-chance points in the game.
In the first three games of the series Chandler pulled down 18 boards total, but over the last two games he's grabbed 22 (11 in each game). He's getting closer to being back to full strength; He seems to be moving better, he's getting there in the pick-and-roll game and his help defense and rotations have been crisp. I'm encouraged with his progress from Games 1 through game 5 and he could be set to have a big Game 6.
