Pablo Prigioni's return was a great boost to the Knick offense. The Knicks are a team that has thrived all year playing lineups that feature two point guards, and Prigioni being in the fold helped them do that tonight.
They were more effective playing small ball and the Knicks' spread pick-and-roll game was much better tonight. I also loved how Prigioni played defensively, as he took Avery Bradley totally out of the game. The Argentinian rookie dished five assists in 17 minutes, a good example of how the ball moved better last night. Prigioni has been a key player all year in the Knicks spread offense as a distributor and was again tonight. Ball security is huge in these defensive games and Prigioni committed no turnovers.
