3. Kenyon Martin Shines Again


What more is there to say about this guy? Brought in late in the year, Martin was thought to be a depth signing to give the Knicks another veteran big behind Tyson Chandler and Amar'e Stoudemire.
However, he has proven to be an invaluable piece on this team. He's been fantastic on the defensive end of the floor, as his versatility is a great fit for the Knicks switch-and-chase scheme. He also provides the team with some needed rim protection, shown tonight by his four blocked shots.
Martin's second half tonight was awesome. He was super active in help defense and seemingly was either blocking or altering every shot that went up around him. With Chandler still getting back to full strength from injury, Martin has been a integral piece to the Knicks victories in this series.
