Once again, Chris Copeland proved that he takes advantage of every minute he is given on the court, scoring a career-high 32 points in 47 minutes. He knocked down four three-pointers and pulled down seven boards, as well.
Copeland is a very different kind of NBA rookie. Cope just turned 29 and finally got his shot after playing five seasons in Europe. Since the beginning of the season, Copeland has made it clear how grateful he is that Coach Woodson believes in him and that being in a Knicks uniform is a great honor. Over the course of what will be a hard-fought playoff run, I believe that the Knicks may end up being very glad that Copeland is on the team.
