Five Takeaways: Knicks Clinch 2 Seed With Win Over Indy

In defeating the Pacers, 90-80, in a hard-fought bout at Madison Square Garden, the New York Knicks clinched the 2nd seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs. They will have home court advantage the first two rounds of the playoffs and will play the Boston Celtics in Round One.

New York was great defensively, holding the Pacers in check throughout. Carmelo Anthony led the way with 25 points, but the Knicks got important contributions from bench performers like Chris Copeland and J.R. Smith against a tough Pacer defense. 

Here are my five takeaways from the game.
