Indiana's top three scorers, Paul George, David West, and Roy Hibbert, were held to just 10-of-26 shooting on the afternoon. Despite not having Tyson Chandler or Kenyon Martin, the Knicks were able to keep Indiana's talented big men in line. Chris Copeland provided not only great offensive, but great defensive minutes against the 7-foot-2 Hibbert.
The difference in the game was the Knicks forcing Indiana into a whopping 26 turnovers. By contrast, New York turned the ball over just 11 times. Anytime you have a +15 in turnover differential, you're going to win more often than not. Knick fans should feel good about a possible 2nd round Knicks-Pacers series given that the Knicks shut down Indiana's offense today with no Chandler and no Martin.
