J.R. Continues to Shine

J.R. Smith became the first Knick to score 30+ points off the pine in back-to-back games since Al Harrington in 2010. J.R. 'Swish' finished the game with a team-high 35 points that came courtesy of another disciplined and efficient performance on the offensive end. In 42 minutes of play, Smith made 10 of the 18 field goals he attempted, and was a near perfect 12 of 13 from the charity stripe.

His play has also been impressing his teammates, including the newest Knick Kenyon Martin. In discussing Smith's efforts on the night Martin told reporters, “I don’t know what he’s eating for breakfast or dinner, but he needs to keep doing it."
