Opening night against the Miami Heat. In the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy at Madison Square Garden, the city banded together for the highly-anticipated matchup, and the Knicks did not disappoint. Carmelo Anthony poured in 30 points and grabbed 10 rebounds en route to a 104-84 victory. This game helped set the stage for what’s become an MVP-campaign for Anthony, and a run at the top overall seed in the Eastern Conference for the Knicks. – Brian Faith
