Riding a five game winning streak to start the season, some critics still doubted the Knicks. Those who wondered if the Knicks were just lucky were proven wrong when the Knicks played the Spurs at the AT&T Center. Playing against one of the most consistent and dominant teams in the NBA, the Knicks were down at one point in the game 89-77. A Jason Kidd sparked rally led the team to a 104-100 victory in San Antonio. Kidd shot 60 percent on catch-and-shoot plays in the final quarter, and the victory showed that the Knicks were not only resilient, but legitimate threats.
