2. The 1991 All-Star game

February 10th — Charlotte Coliseum, Charlotte, NC.

Playing in his fifth All-Star Game, Patrick Ewing reunited with his former running mate, Bernard King. King, then playing for the Washington Bulllets, enjoyed some historic moments during his tenure in Manhattan, notably in 1984 when he became the first player in two decades to score at least 50 points in consecutive games. Ewing succeeded King as the new Knicks’ scoring threat a season later. Here, the duo hook up for a highlight reel dunk as Patrick delivers a facial to Spurs’ center David Robinson. The East edged out the West in controversial fashion, 116-114.
