The dynamic, second-year point guard will compete in Friday's Rising Stars Challenge, and Saturday’s Three Point Shootout. He’ll then lace ‘em up for the Eastern Conference in Sunday night’s All-Star game as a reserve.
Usually, young point guards struggle with long-range shooting when they come into the league - think, Derrick Rose, Russell Westbrook, and Rajon Rondo. That’s not the case with last year’s number one overall pick, as Irving has shot a blistering 41.4% from deep in his first two years in the league.
