James “Flight” White is no stranger to dunk contests, having participated in them throughout every level of his career. In 2001, he was the runner-up in the McDonald’s High School Slam Dunk Contest, and he also took second place in the 2006 NCAA College Slam Dunk Contest. White then proceeded to capture first place in the 2008 dunk contest while playing overseas in Turkey. “Whatever I do is going to be new. It’s not going to be seen in the NBA dunk contest, he said.
