The 2013 NBA All-Star Weekend in Houston is right around the corner and the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest is one of the most anticipated events of the year. Celebrities, current players, and ex-superstars will all be on hand to throw up a 10 while erupting in cheers when these athletes bring down the house with earth shattering jams on Saturday, February 16th.

Unbelievable feats of athleticism are on display every year when some of the best talent in the league square off against one another, and this year will be no different because we have some previous champions coming back for a chance to make history. Both Jeremy Evans and Gerald Green will look to become the sixth player in the competition’s 27-year history to win multiple dunk contests, joining Michael Jordan (1987, 1988), Dominique Wilkins (1985, 1990), Harold Miner (1993, 1995), Jason Richardson (2002, 2003) and Nate Robinson (2006, 2009, 2010).

Let’s take a look at this years participants.
