Mike Woodson had a talk with Chandler last week about him not playing to his maximum potential. Well, that talk certainly paid off. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, in the past 20 years only six players have grabbed 20 rebounds in three straight games. It’s only happened four times in Knicks history before Chandler did it last week, and that was four decades ago. Willis Reed achieved this feat twice in his career, most recently in December of 1969. Two others did it the team’s history: Walt Bellamy, a Hall of Fame center, accomplished his streak in the 60’s before he was later dealt for Dave DeBusschere, who played a big part in both the Knicks championship teams. The 6-foot-5 Johnny Green was the other to hit the mark during the 60's.
