With 5:05 remaining in the first quarter and the Knicks down 13-3, Amar’e Stoudemire entered the game. His tenacious play was the spark the team needed, as he led the way during a 19-2 run giving the Knicks a lead they would never relinquish. Stoudemire was perfect on offense for the second game in a row, going 10-for-10 from the field and finishing with 21 points in 21 minutes.
