Chandler was an instrumental part, particularly on defense, of the Dallas Mavericks team that beat the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals to capture their first NBA championship. For his break-out defensive performance in 2011, Chandler was named to the NBA’s All-Defensive Second Team.
